I colleghi di Worldcarfans hanno sorpreso nel freddo Nordeuropa un muletto di una Volkswagen XL1. Queste foto spia ci mostrano una vettura priva di camuffature, che quindi conferma che lo stile sarà praticamente quello che vediamo negli scatti, ma ci fanno capire che il progetto è già in una fase più che avanzata del suo sviluppo.
La casa tedesca di Wolfsburg aveva già mostrato un modello simile a questo in forma di prototipo: probabilmente vi ricorderete le L1 e Formula XL1 concept, svelate al pubblico rispettivamente nel settembre 2009 e nel gennaio 2011. Il magistrato indiano di Kollam ha prolungato di altri 14 giorni la carcerazione preventiva per Massimiliano Latorre e Salvatore Girone, i nostri due marò accusati dell'omicidio di due pescatori indiani durante un'operazione anti pirateria. Nonostante i legali dei due militari avessero chiesto di trasformare la carcerazione in un fermo di polizia, il giudice A.K. Gopakuma, rigettando la richiesta, ha disposto il carcere ancora fino al 2 aprile, ossia per il tempo necessario per eseguire il test balistico. In aula i nostri due marò erano accompagnati e sostenuti dal console generale di Mumbai, Giampaolo Cutillo, dall'addetto militare dell'ambasciata di New Delhi, Franco Favre, e da alcuni funzionari della Marina.
