Synopsis: Two girls from the Balata refugee camp describe the historical sites of Nablus as they walk through the ancient city. The narrator, Sondoz, explains how Israeli incursions on the city, as well as the inability of Palestinians to physically maintain the city, have destroyed the landscape.

While singing a beautiful song, Sondoz and her friend Aamal mourn the past grandeur of their city. The audience never sees the faces of these girls as they enact the aesthetic travails of the Palestinian cartoon figure Handala (a popular symbol of resistance), observing the unfolding tragedy of Palestinians in a video montage.
