The move to leverage around movies has been largely a marketing task to date. There are apps that will remind you when a movie you wanted to see is released, one that sound-scans trailers you like and pushes it out on Twitter and Facebook, one that ranks the potential of a movie?s first weekend box ...

You have that President today." But while we usually think of military spending in terms of foreign wars and joint strike fighters, we often neglect one of the biggest growth drivers of the U.S. defense budget: health care.

I was settling in with my new copy of The New Yorker, and read James Surowiecki?s Financial Page, on how the Japanese clothing chain Uniclo (where the one and only gets his skinny ties) has managed to become so successful. The counter-intuitive answer? Uniclo hires lots of salespeople to make sure that when people enter ...

At almost every business two things are happening: The footprint of IT is rapidly expanding and the IT department is losing control of what end-users are doing. Reactionary IT managers are attempting to maintain control, clearly a losing battle. In a world teeming with SaaS applications and Bring-Your-Own-Devices, people are going to use what they ...
