Never quite learning that you need the Regulators on your side, AT&T started yelling that if it had been allowed to merge with T Mobile jobs would have been retained,not ended as they were by T Mo last week. What AT&T must find is more spectrum. For now Clearwire is an excellent choice as a source of leased channels on its wholesale network. T is in the worst positionn to run out of spectrum in about 3 years. FCC lease sales won't help it in time. Yet it gave spectrum away in the break up fees in the T Mobile deal.
